ABOUT US

We are Art By Three — identical triplets. Thank you for visiting our page; we hope you enjoy our work.

We started painting at age 11 and quickly realised that, while each of us has a distinct style, we can combine our strengths to work on the same piece. We constantly share ideas, give each other feedback, and build a single, cohesive artwork together.

We also create work individually, but we’re at our best when painting together — six hands instead of two!

We particularly enjoy painting animals, urban scenes and landscapes — but we’re happy to tackle almost any subject.

We began with watercolours and now work in acrylics, oils and graphite. We also create digital art.

At 13 we exhibited our first painting. The theme was “flowers” — new territory for us — and it received great interest.

Since then we’ve sold professionally printed greeting cards, postcards and prints, and we’ve completed many commissions of pets and family portraits.

In 2016 we appeared as Wildcards on Sky Landscape Artist of the Year, which brought more attention to our work. We’ve also been featured in magazines, including the National Trust Magazine, and in 2022 we were on the news again — watch the clip: BBC Midlands Today.
